The year 2000 was a year that I met a lady on Yahoo! and she actually lived close enough to date, only about 300 miles.  I found her in a Yahoo! club I joined and when looking up her profile she was posing in front of her jeep.  Most people who know me know that I have quite a fondness for off roading so she attracted me right off.  Her name was Donna and we didn't date long but had some good times while we did.  I wrote this poem in an email to describe a kiss.

First Kiss

Gazing up, peering down, hazel & blue

Anticipating, dreaming, of future times spent with you

My hands resting, then gliding, my hands sliding

Gently forth from your hips

Moving upward, caressing, sensing, light tensing

Tracing, with my fingertips

The light in your eyes, the smile on your lips

Your light shudder, from the slight pressure, of my fingertips

Shallow breath, in drawn, with no willing release

Eyes closing, with a wondrous, almost delirious, inner peace

My hands reach your shoulders, a gentle massage to your neck

Feather touch to your ears, along your jaw, on their trek

Your eyes open once more, as I touch your lips

They glisten and shine as my fingertips

Travel soooo slow, a journey, not a show

It’s how a kiss is born, I thought you would like to know
