Beaches
Find your local beaches or
you can choose one you haven't been to before |

|
Beaches cover miles and miles in San Diego. Some are
populated and some are not, some are local hangouts and some are more
touristy. All of the beaches are beautiful and so very different from
one another |
Many or the city beaches
have sidewalks, bike paths or both. Enjoy a little stroll or a quiet
paced ride |

Parks
From the sunny beaches, through the valleys, over the
mountains, and into the desert, San Diego has Parks of almost limitless
variety. There are natural preserves, where you can enjoy nature in an
undisturbed way. You can play in a groomed grassy park, with
playgrounds and picnic benches. The varieties are endless! |
|
Many San Diego parks have
some pretty spectacular playgrounds, we'll try to identify which is which. |
Some park areas have ball fields,
some have campsites, some only have a bench or two to enjoy the sites.
Some areas are so primitive you must bring your own chair |

This view from the top of
Lawson Peak is just magnificent |
Just don't forget to grab your friends and your toys and
head to the desert during the winter season |
